When is the best time to visit Bangladesh?

It depends on what you are looking for. Ideally, winter (November to February) is nice with its mild temperature range from 12–15 to 30 degrees in celsius. However, this is also a high season for tourists who like to enjoy a sunny day on the sea beaches. This is also the period one can go trekking in the hill tracts or visit the Sundarbans, the mangrove forest. Another good season is the monsoon, although the rainfall may hamper your plans, the hill tracts become lush with greenery. The rivers are flowing at their fullest, and if you are kind of a person who likes rain (like many Bangladeshis) you may enjoy this season. April is good if you would want to attend the Bengali new year festivities. If you are visiting in late spring or in the Summer, be prepared for the hot and humid weather. However, this is by and large compensated by the availability of summer fruits.
